When the brake pads have these problems, they must be replaced

The braking system is too important for driving safety. We dare not let the car go on the road if the braking is not good, and the brake pad, as a consumable part, has a service life. For this reason, the brake pads should be the focus of the brake system. How long can the brake pads last? Under normal circumstances, that is, when the brake pads are not eccentric worn, they should be replaced when the thickness of the brake pads is worn to the remaining 5mm. The manufacturer stipulates that the limit thickness of the friction layer of the brake pads is 1.5mm, but for safety reasons, they should be replaced when the brake pads are worn to the thickness of 5mm

Generally, qualified brake pads can be used for 60000 to 80000 kilometers, but they will also be worn out prematurely if the driver accelerates quickly and slams on the brake frequently according to the driving style. Because usually we can't always look at the thickness of the brake pads, and we don't know where to start preventive replacement. When troubleshooting other faults of the brake system, if these faults occur in the car, the brake may have to be replaced.

1、 The feeling of the brake pedal is inaccurate. When you step on the brake pedal, the feeling of the brake is different than usual. The troubleshooting of brake oil and brake cylinder is mostly caused by the brake pad being too thin or seriously eccentric worn. At this time, the brake pad may need to be replaced.

2、 There is the friction sound of iron hitting iron when braking. If the brake pads are worn to the limit, you will hear the sharp sound of metal friction when braking, which indicates that the brake caliper has rubbed against the brake disc. Such a situation will also cause the brake disc to be worn out. When the brake pads are worn to the point of abnormal metal friction sound when braking, the brake pads must be replaced immediately.
